If a Director is appointed u/s 260 then when will he retire from his office?

Say Date of Appoinment is
1) 20 June 2007

Will it matter if no AGM is held during 2007 & 2008 ?
To put it straight

A Ramaiya says that he should retire on due Date of AGM [ If AGM is not held he can not continue in his office ]

Do you support this view ?

Jst wanted to know when one pre scrutinizes the form-23ac are we supposed to be connected to the internet????
i filled the form 23AC. at that tym the size of the form was 2.08MB. Wen i tried to upload it a message flashed " prescrutinize the form". i prescrutinised d form. After pre scrutinising the size of d form increased to 2.55mb.
pl get me out of this matter.

Can a Company having less than 500 members maintain its Index & Register of Members as per Section 150 & 151 of the Companies Act, 1956.

If Yes, Can anyone provide me the soft copy of the register of members.

I have changed my job from Chennai to Jaipur in June 2008. I have applied for refund of PF and at that time I have an account with CITI bank Chennai. After leaving Chennai I have closed my bank account at Citibank Chennai and opened a new account at ICICI Jaipur.

PF office has remitted my PF amount direct with Citibank Chennai through RTGS under intimation to me.

Citibank is not confirming the receipt of fund and now I don’t have any account with them. I have made several correspondences with Citibank and PF office but no one entertaining my problem.

What should I do Please help.

i hv certain doubts which is related to 23AC which needs to be uploaded.

1. Is it mandatory to attach all the documents including schedules in form 23AC.??

2. I downloaded 2 additional attachments and filled the necessary data and also attached pdf documents. now when i fed 23AC and attached remaining documents, the size exceeded 2.5MB. hw shld i proceed??? pl help me.
