can any one give a clear information of counting of attempt ! whether it strts after ipcc registration (no matter we give paper or not) or after filling up of examination forms??

hi, i just finished my ipcc group 1 exam- Nov '14.i am doing job beside CA course.Before appearing this nov 14 exam,i failed 3 times before that.So question is am i pursuing right course or else i should focus on some other courses. Suppose, in IPCC, I've answered the first (compulsory) questions. And after that, I attempt all the remaining questions (from Q2 to Q7) because I'm unsure about which question should I skip. Will the marks allotted to me be on the basis of first 5 questions (after Q1) or the best 5, out of the six questions?

Sir 9 month practical training is the main eligibility for writing ipcc exam. But if i didnt clear ipcc 2nd group. For 2nd attempt how many month i hav to complete practical training?
