hi. I have given 1 attemot of ca final in may13 could not clear it . I had already given 6attempts of pcc n den was so depressed that did not give nov 13. attempt. I have not done my internship also properly and hence no practical experience . have not been doing anything in sense of work that can constitute as experience for job. m planing to give 1 grup of ca final thismay. bt m not sure. are there any career path for me if I dont clear in this attempt also. n quit ca. I come from a middle class family and this is a very important decision for me as my father will retire this april

Hello, I have completed 3.5 yrs of articleship and PCC. I wasn't sure if I could clear pcc so I prepared for MBA entrance and cleared pcc in 3rd attempt in 2012 also scored good enough to get admission into Top 5 MBA college in Mumbai. I took admission and now Final placement season is going on.. I am confused if I should take up placements or go for CA FINAL may 14 attempt. In placements I am getting offers of around 6.5lpa. Should I opt out of placement season and concentrate on finals? I can't do both together as MBA jobs are quite demanding of around 12 hrs work daily.. Personally I think of giving a try in may but then will have to opt out of placement. I know in long term ca will help but would it be a wise decision to opt out of placements... It's a very tough and HIGHLY risky decision for my future looking at current results and prevailing job scenario.. I request all senior CCI members to give their advice It's going to be either CA OR PLACEMENT...

Iam a CA final student. I will be completing my 2nd year of articleship on 28th Feb 2014 and then will be eligible for industrial training. I want to ask that Iam doing CS as well and in executives one group cleared and result of 2nd group is awaited, so should I disclose this fact in my CV for industrial training. Do I have to inform the company that Iam persuing CS as well, because if I say that it will enhance my CV and help me get in.
Please suggest. Also guide me about what important points I should highlight in my cv and cover letter for the same. Please show me a light.

I am a member of ICAI but not holding COP. I have left my job and am planning to start my own coaching classes for Commerce and CA students on full time basis. Kindly let me know if i need to seek the Institutes approval for doing so. Also Do i need to apply for COP for the same?

i am a ca fresher.i have two job options.1 is accenture as a client financial management analyst and the other is sr accounts executive in trent ltd.i.e. a group company of tata which handles star bazaar and westside accounts.
Salary is same in both.
so confused which to join for considering future growth opportunities,work culture and hike in salary in future.
Plz reply as soon as possible with reasons.

i have some confusion regarding whether i have to form a new firm for CMA or can i do my CMA practice with same firm name which has already registered with CA institute.
