Permission from icai for starting coahing classes

I am a member of ICAI but not holding COP. I have left my job and am planning to start my own coaching classes for Commerce and CA students on full time basis. Kindly let me know if i need to seek the Institutes approval for doing so. Also Do i need to apply for COP for the same?

Dear Sayee,
1. No you are not required to apply for COP to start coaching center.
2. Given that you are not a COP holder, you don't need any permission from ICAI.
