which firms should be selected for articleship if one has passed both groups in ipcc

can anyone pls tellme whether doing articleship in bigfour is good or doing in small and medium firms is good if i wish to start a ca firm after completing ca course?
pls tell me d reason too

I am Bcom LLB & CS professional student.(PA 6 L)
I have been working in the field of A/c & taxation from near about 8-9 year & wanted to continue the same even after completion of my CS.

My current Company is Pvt. Ltd. Co. need to appoint Full time CS as per the new CA act and even old Act also but they are still not appointed the same only PCS firm has appointed on retainer ship basis.

1)I wanted to know the career prospective after completion of CS without changing the current job profile ?

2)Suppose my current company offer me position of company secretary along with my current profile then what are traning & formalities i have to complete before eligible for appointment and what salary i have to quote?

m not getting qualified since last two attempts of ipcc1 as i hav got 150 marks only. n same is d case wid CS-exec.(old syllabus) xam. m not getting dat wether to give CA-ipcc1 in nov14 or CS-executive(old syllabus) both grps in dec'14. or wat if i appear cs-exec.(old syllabus) xam both grps in dec'14 . and then started preparin for ipcc both grps for may'15. ??? plz giv me ur advices / suggestions!!!

i am very confused about how to choose an appropriate firm for my articleship.

because i dont know what aspects of firm i should focused. and how can i get knowledge about it

I havent studied anything till now and i am currently working under a CA.i have only sept and oct in hand and to cope up with the changes like cst,excise,custom and companies act,2013.
Is it possible to complete the portion ?

It has been two days I have joined a ca firm. The principal has said he will let me to continue by looking 15 days of my work. I have passed both group of IPCC n commerce graduated. I already told him that I am a fresher. I have been given to file DPT under company act 2013 n no one is eager to teach me. Is there no criteria to guide a first articleship trainee? Should I join there

Hello Sir/Madam.
I gave my IPCC exam first attempt in May 2014 and cleared both the groups with 419 marks.
I need some help in choice of a good articleship firm. I want to do it from a reputed mid size firm which gives me nice exposure & experience.
I stay in Thane & most of the good mid size firms are in proper Bombay or places far from Thane.
So i guess that much travelling would be hectic as I have to manage my college and CA final classes also.
Whats your opinion on this ?
Can you please suggest some good reputed mid size firms near Thane or Mulund.
Also, whether mid size firms give exposure in all fields ? I want some what exposure & knowledge in all fields or departments even though they put me in one particluar department.
So is this possible in a mid size firm ?

Where Ever C.A Article compleated Staff or paid assistant with CA firm goes for Higher Position interview have to face lot of problems by knowing all the Profile of the Accounting or Finance..

Prospective Employers says If you are worked with CAs not enough to work as Accounts Manager because in CA firm only Post Accounting Job will be there.

Plz send any body knowing how to answer for this ?s..
