Sir,

We have factory in one state and Warehouse in another state. We have registered our warehouse under excise act. Our company has proposed to carry out packing activities of goods transferred from factory to warehouse, which comes under the definition of manufacture under excise act.
Presently We also selling goods as it is from warehouse which are transferred from the factory.
Pls suggest me which excise return we should file and how to do the billing and avail cenvat credit on goods brought from the factory to warehouse.

I have one clarification regarding registration of Excise department for the reason of in our company as a SSI unit. we are production to create invoice value and reach the following period

01. 2011-12 - Rs.15 lakhs
02. 2012-13 - Rs.65 lakhs
03. 2013-14 - Rs.45 lakhs

for the above till the period we did't registration at the excise department. So kindly give the suggestion to when and how to be register at excise.

My client has purchase goods for dealer who has purchase directly from manufacturer and that dealer has mention of my clients purchase bill about passing off MODVat credit directly form manufacturer to my client..

so, can my client take ModVat credit in this case

i filed a application for central excise registration in form a1 while filing i have selected the wrong jurisdiction (range) please tell me how to rectify it please reply immediately

We are taking benefit of SSI Notf. of excise and our turnover is under 1.50 cr at this time. We have purchased a machinery on which cenvat credit is available. Can we avail this cenvat credit in this time return and utilize it after crossing turnover of 1.50 Cr in this year or in the next year ( if taking benefit of SSI in next year also).
