Can expenditure for development of a website be capitalised as computer software and what should be the depreciation rate?

A customer pays advance in INR and the balance in foreign currency. Invoice raised in USD and the goods are sent outside India.

1. IS it export Sale?

2. Exchange rate fluctuation whether to book?

Dear sir

1)in the A.Y-2011-12 our client Balance sheet not shown in the VAT payable in the Balance sheet and

2)wrongly shown as VAT Refundable but their is no any refundable Balance

My company Had Opening Block Value of Plant and Machinery Rs.88,22,564 we Purchased a Ups Rs 1750 it is capitalized or Not.
and also suggest me co. Act Provision Regarding Capitalization of F.Assets and Individual Assets.

As per Sales Order, freight @ Rs. 20.00 per K.G. is paid by the buyer. But actual freight paid to transporter by the seller is Rs. 5.00 Per K.G.

So what is the accounting treatment for Rs. 15.00 (Balance Amount)?

Whether the Service tax on Actual Freight is paid or as per Sales Order i.e. on Rs. 20.00 is paid?

I have a query in finalising the accounts for Individual (I am just assisting my friend for filing his income tax return as he is a small tax payer).


Balance Sheet is not tallying (i.e. Liabilities is not tallying with Assets
and has a difference of say Rs.21500/-).

Query

The assessee is not in a position to recollect the details for such difference.

How can the accounts be finalised in such a situation or is there any way to resolve this ?

I had a cargo van which i have sold recently..now i needed to make entry in tally but i dont know that how to make entry of it..
In F.Y.2011-12 rate of cargo van was 145000/- but i sold it in Rs.130000/- this year..
please tell me that how should i show the loss amount Rs.15000/- which i have incurred on selling????

A company is having lot of Dies & Tools which has been booked as Plant & Machinery

Can it be treated as Inventory ?

(Company is not trading with Dies & Tools and Company has to purchase Dies & Tools in every month due to change in products)

We are selling one building in the name of our company.What are the taxes applicable against such sale.
