when asset is treated as qualifying? in some questions advance to supplier for machine is treated as qualifying n in some it is not! whts the concept!???

DEAR SIR, my query is following -credit sale made to a debtor.being payment due from long time period ,a provision was created. later on recovered from debtor. what will be accounting enries in all such cases. what will be entry of provision reversal. will it be adjusted against our co.'s income.

A company engaged in the manufacturing and exporting of jewellery and have purchased immovable property i.e. shops in the mall. The same has been on rental basis and the rent income is shown under the head fixed assets and the depreciation is being claimed on the same .

please advise us the above practise is correct or whether this should have been shown under the head of investment.
