Dear Experts,
We are keeping our books of account other place than registered office.
I want to know is it permissible under VAT act and other acts also.

As per the Companies Act, you can keep books of accounts at any other place than the registered office of the Company. You have to file Form 23AA for this.
Not much familiar with VAT act. other views also invited.

for any other act there is no provision except for respective state vat act, so find out in your state vat laws abt it.

Nothing about the place is written in VAT act. For Companies act I am very clear, because I have done it earlier.
