Birth certificate & passport

06 February 2016 I seek your assistance on the following matter:
My mother was born on 5th February 1960, however she does not have a birth certificate and now that hospital is also closed.
Other thing is that we don't have her original school passing and leaving certificate either.
She is a literate person.
What is the procedure to get her the birth certificate, need the same for her passport application.

kindly help asap.

06 February 2016 1)Apply to the municipal authority to get the birth certificate stating the name of your parents & date of birth.

2)If your birth is not registered, in that case obtain a negative certificate which state that your birth is not registered in there record & hence no birth certificate can be given.

3)After obtaining the above mentioned certificate, you have to apply in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class against the Municipal Authority & make prayer to registered your birth in their register.
Contact nearest advocate for completion of this,..or any other advice from him to get birth certificate
