Whether "book binding charges" are taxable under service tax for AY 2012-13?

There is no specific entry in the negative list about book binding charges to claim exemption after 01.07.2012.

As per new defination of works contract, book binding does not fall underr works contract but it comes under the defination of support service. It is not in negative list not in mega exemption and hence taxable. The taxable portion is the value exluding the value on which VAT is paid
