BILL TO SHIP from supplier to receipient Job Worker

15 October 2019 Dear Expert

Kindly advise we are manufacturer and sending our raw material to Job Worker, now we are purchasing raw material from our supplier and informed them to raise a bill to ship to basis.

Supplier is in Karnataka and we are also in karnataka but our Job worker is in Tamil nadu

for the above we have informed our supplier raise bill to us and mention ship to address to our Job Worker located in Tamil nadu,

Is it possible in current law or not kindly advise and our supplier has to issue CGST AND SGST

15 October 2019 Yes, It is possible in the current law.
The invoice of supplier should be in the name of your firm ( principal ) and the name and address of the job worker should be mentioned as the consignee.
You shall issue delivery challan and under Rule 45 of CGST Rules and send it directly to job worker.
Your supplier will charge CGST & SGST

Further reg eway bill supplier has issued as per the bill is it required us to issue one more against our Delivery Challan or not required if the supplier has mentioned in his eway bill for both the GSTIN of karnataka and Tamilnadu
