Benefits of holding part time cop

Dear Experts,
What are the benefits of holding part time cop.? If a ca who is full time employed obtain Part Time COP, will it benefit him? I mean he can't do attestation work..and other normal work he can do without cop..so does it make any sense

In my opinion by holding part time COP, you will be eligible for becoming FCA after completion of 5 years.
