Being in a full time employement along withthe full time cop

19 October 2013 Iam holding full time COP and practising individually..
I wanted to ask if its possible to engage as a payroll employee with a industry without surrendering COP.... Assuring i will not use COP while being in that employement.
My sole concern is that i do not want to affect my seniority of a practising CA
Is it possible plz guide me.

19 October 2013 It is not possible as per the rules. if you want to do so, it will be treated as professional misconduct, you may lose the membership also. so do either practice or employment. you may have the part time COP with informing about the employment to the institute. but with part time COP you cannot do practice and audit the financials

19 October 2013 so i shud convert it in part time cop? and with that i will also loose my seniority?

19 October 2013 you can convert to Part time COP and your seniority will be same, it wont lose
