During the ICAI campus interviews a public sector bank came and offered lot of things.

so lot of fresh CA accepted the offer.

When they sent their offer letter al those offers are not there.

they selected almost 90 CA and only 35 have joined..
pay scale basic 12820 only

Is there any scope for action ?

07 December 2009 See Pay packages in public sector designed differently than private sector. In pvt secrot u have CTC thing. IT is not the same there. SO one need to evaluate and analyse entire package. Public sector bank has more of non cash benefits. This 12820 is basic. Check of Allowances and also look at value of non cash benefits. In pvt sector basic is 40 % of CTC generally. so if u work in pvt bank in a package of 4 lac approx basic would be around this. Aniways as a general rule ask for break up of pay scale before committing a job
