I have a client who has income from share trading as well as from future and option trading , as from internet we got that he need to file itr3 .
my doubt is that is balance sheet mandatory in itr3 if his income is below 7 lakh.

In case of business when income is expected to be > Rs 1,20,000 or sales/turnover/
gross receipts are >Rs 10,00,000 books of accounts are to be maintained. If that be
your case, ITR 3 has to be filed for which balance sheet is required.
