Please do not confuse financial statements with balance sheet.
It is customary to refer unaudited financials as provisional.
Projections are prepared based on assumption that present figures continue in future till the end of financial year. e.g. preparing projections based 6 months actual figures;
Estimates on the other hand is a forecast by speculating future values with the available actual data of current and the past periods with a certain level of confidence.
