Could you please let me know what type of question can be asked by a C.A during the interview regarding Balance Sheet.

What exposure do you have in making a BS?
What's the difference b/w old & revised Sch VI?
Scenario based Qs.
Qs based on finalization.

The list could be endless. Reply logically & needless to say tactically.

Some common questions asked in my office have been are:-
What should be the 1st thing to see in the trial balance?
Ans:- it should be tallied.

Whether Closing Stock appears in the trial balance or not?
Whether you will consider the balance of Bank A/c as per books or as per Bank Statements?

Questions on revised schedule VI could be asked.
