AY 23-24 FORM 16 OF A SALARY PERSON MADE BY OLD TAX REGIME.HIS SALARY IS 15 LAKH ABOVE ANNUALLY.NOW IN RETURN, CAN HE OPTED IN NEW TAX REGIME? FOR GET FACILITY OF LOW TAX RATE?

Yes, he can opt for new regime, for that file form 10IE before filing return u/s. 139(1) of IT act, if have income u/h. PGBP. Otherwise, you can choose it under questionnaire while filing ITR.
