availment of excise credit on printing and stationery items

22 August 2009 we are manifactured motor vehicle parts.can i take cenvat credit supplied by supplier of printing and stationery items ( sales invoices, gin). we are not using this items directly for manifacturing process.

22 August 2009 No its not allowed. its allowed only on input (raw Material) for manufcturing purpose.
