22 October 2010 Is there any problem if the date of audit report mentioned in the ITR and the date put in the Balance Sheet of a Private limited company is different?

22 October 2010 there is no problem. but auditor report date must be there in balance sheet and ITR before the due date of filing. If any query from income tax, we can explain through written.

Whether it is public company or private limited company, ITR date should not be the date before the date of Board Meeting audit report date should be the date of Board Meeting and thereafter you can file ITR.
