03 March 2016 Can any body please tell me the exact formula of calculating Attrition Ratio?
Somewhere the Employees left are divided by the average no. of employees and some where they are divided by opening??

03 March 2016 The first and foremost principle of RATIO analysis is "They are not exact mathematics, although they are expressed mathematically"
Average may be worked out as weekly average, fortnightly average, monthly average, quarterly average, six monthly average, yearly average and so on. It will depend upon the nature and type of company. So? The reader of the ratio has to make himself or herself aware of what sort of average is used.
