i m a ca final student and i had my exam due in may 11 and i filled in the exam form for the same in march 11. But due to serious illness, i could not take the exam in the may term. therefore i have no option but to take the exam in next term i.e.nov 11. will my nov 2011 attempt be counted as my first attempt since the situation was beyond my control?
if answer is no, then is there a remedy for it? i guess it will hamper my placements prospects in case its counted as my second attempt!! pl help

29 June 2011 One thing should be clear to you that as per the ICAI you have already lost one chance but you have not attempted. So this will be your second attempt in the records of the the ICAI as you will be receiving one mark sheet with the marks as absent.

Now, let me know how you are affected. After passing C>A final in your November how anyone will know that you have passed in first attempt or in second unless you speak on it that you have passed in second attempt officially and first attempt by appearing for the first time.
