24 February 2023 Dear Sir,

Employee on probation can be given the compensation as per the trainee specific to salary component Stipend.

Whether these probation employees are eligible for provident fund and calculation on the stipend.

Could you plz share any article or policy related to this.

25 February 2023 Probation employees are eligible for PF
Probationary periods have no special legal status and employees who are on probation enjoy the same statutory employment rights as other staff. They are also entitled to the national minimum wage, statutory sick pay, fundamental duties and rights under the working time rules and time off work in certain circumstances.
