SIR, I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ASSESSMENT YEAR OF THE COMPANY WHICH ARE LIABLE TO PURCHASE N SALE IN LOCAL AUTHORITY UNDER DVAT ACT ONLY LOCAL SALE N PURCHASE ARE THERE THEN PLESE TELL ME THE ASSESSMENT OF THE YEAR IS COMPULSORY OR NOT..????

I HAVE A COMPANY WHICH IS REGISTERED UNDER DVAT ACTIN DELHI,and we will do all sale n purchase are local not central sale n central purchase then pls tell me ..about his assessment

Yes assessment is mandatory.....bcz after assessment all the pendency related to tax for a particular FY get close and generally no demand and no penalty will be imposed after assessment .
You can say that it is a last stage of any FY for which you have to met with sales tax department.
