Articleship valid leave

04 September 2009 I want to know, what are the valid leave days that can be deducted from total leave taken, are they 156 days or 137days or 182days?
there are 2 ciculars on institute site one with 1/7th leave i.e. 156 days & other with 1/6th leave i.e. 182 days.
My principals told me that old syllabus students are eligible for deduction of 137days from total leave.
IM CONFUSED. he is also counting exam leave taken for giving past attempt in total leave days.he's claiming 182days are for new syllabus students but nowhere it is mentioned that circular is applicable for new syllabus students.
help me & kindly give me an example of calculation of excess leave.
