14 April 2008 Iam an article ,my articleship started on 5 jan 08, but i want to terminate my articleship because of heavy workload and excessive worktime. Can i terminate my articleship, i have yet not got my identity card.

14 April 2008 If you have already been sent the registration form then there is no matter that you have not received the I-card.
You are a registered article therefore if you want to terminate the articleship then you should take a transfer from the current employer and but in this case also you can take a termination for only one month, after that you have to pay the fine to ICAI for additional period of termination.
Contact your ICAI branch for more info on the issue..

14 April 2008 yes u can definitely get ur articles's terminated by filling up form 109 with mutual consent from ur present employer. Hey there were rumours that from dis month termination within 6 months of ur articleship won't be permitted. Check this rumour out whether in april institute has issued any circular for the same. These may be just rumours if nothing as such has come yet then u may terminate ur articleship by filling up form 109 wid mutual consent from ur employer.
