29 February 2008 Sir, One of my friend who is a CA. Final Student is undergoing articleship under a Qualified CA at present.

Now, that CA - the employer, is leaving up his practice and going into a JOB.

Whehther in such circumstances, that article under him can be trnasferred / registered under any body by way of generation of Addl. Vacancy ?

Does this results into availing a additional vacancy for those CAs who's limit for training Articles is full, otherwise ?

29 February 2008 IN MY VIEW HE CAN TAKE THE TRANSFER BEFORE HE LEAVES PRACTICE AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR CA'S HAVING FULL TRAINING ARTICLES TO GET ADDITIONAL VACANCY
