04 March 2013 Does the Institute generally take more time in sending articleship confirmation letter to those students who submit their form after 30days of commencement of training?

04 March 2013 Now it generally taking time to 3 to 4 months to send the communication to the students in any case.

04 March 2013 Then you make a query at e-sahayaataa available at www.icai.org at the bottom of such window at under students option to know the status of your application form for articleship registration they may respond you and tells you any requirements from you. You said you send your articleship registration form after 30 days so they may be keep your application pending for the purpose of penalty(late payment) or may not be come to process and they tells you at e-sahayaataa.

I have already paid a late fee of Rs.300 and also submitted an explanatory letter regarding late submission of form.

and the e-sahayaata portal is not working. They are not sending the verification mail

05 March 2013 Some time they sending verification mail will be go to the Junk or trash or spam mail box so please check such boxes also along with Inbox as well as for some times it send by late(i.e after some time) so please follow and again file e-sahayaataa.

05 March 2013 One of the another friend two day back said the same problem like you at this site. So you may try it with another service provider other provider which you used now.

05 March 2013 For testing purpose i create a testing e-sahayataa grivence its working and send me the verification mail. So it may be problem with your mail service provider please check it with another service provider.

05 March 2013 Then fine wait for the time specified by the ICAI and remember it may take more time like one or two days to solve your grivance than time specified by the automatic reply by system so don't feel tension if they not solved in time they specified wait for some time and see their reply what they said. If you required further guidance if any based on their reply please welcome to ask your doubts and queries if any.

I got ICAI reply, They says

"You are required to submit attested correspondence proof for article registration"

What does it mean?

07 March 2013 That means i think you have to submit your address proof for your correspondence with self attestation. Is you send all the documents regarding to articleship registration with attestation of your photo with your employer.

As well as with the above matter requesting meaning of such above reply re-post at e-sahaayaataa because it is confusing i think ICAI will not required address proof. I think it may ask for your photo attestation by the employee as well as i don't know now institute requiring about address proof.

So i thinking it requiring you your correspondence address with the attestation by your employer.

Anyway please confirm it by the institute it self.
