articleship during pcc exam

If a student is not regestered under a ca firm while appearing for ca pcc exam will there be any problem??..
For instance, if someone has completed 18 months of articleship before pcc exam and take termination from that firm and then rejoin any other firm after pcc exam then will there be any problem??

for 1st attempt its fine if u r not registered anywhere as a article...but for 2nd attempt onwards its compulsion to be registered...and ya this was for finals old course...so i think the same provision will be applicable for pcc and finals new course
