Articleship completion date

(Querist)
29 December 2015 My articleship date got extended from 26/4/16 to 4/5/16 due to late re-registration. I have appeared for final CA exam in Nov 15. Now the institute is telling me that they will withhold my result has the completion date is 4/5/16 and not 30/4/16. Please guide me what remedies can be provided. Thank you
