18 April 2012 Can anyone tell me meaning of Date of Booking As i saw in Form 26AS.

Also since i have 1000 clients of IT....can any expert tell me till what time I can get All TDS information in Form 26 AS....Is it can be seen on 30th April since it is last date to deposit TDS...or it may 15th May since it is last date for TDS Return Filling or it may also be more late....?

18 April 2012 Date of booking appearing in Form 26AS is the date when deductor has credited the amount in deductee account and deducted TDS in his books. The TDS information in 26AS might be seen only after the deductor file the TDS return. The due date for the 4th qtr is 15th May. If we assume that the deductor files it latest by 15th May, the deductee would be able to see it after 3-4 days in Form 26AS.

18 April 2012 To my view the date of booking is entered
by the department at the time of tallying the payment details of TDS/TCS deposited in bank by the deductor with the payment details mentioned in the TDS/TCS statement (e-TDS return) filed by the deductor.
