15 November 2008 Hi I am Bhavik Shah. I have completed my 1 year of articleship & I will be appearing for Pcc exams in May 2009. Is it necessary to take Transfer from your Firm after completing your 1 & half years of articleship & passing the Pcc exam. or is it binding on us to continue under the same firm till we get transfer.

16 November 2008 No U can continue with old firm. There is no rule that U have to take transfer after 1.5yrs. Also If U want to go for industrial training, principal will have to give transfer. Taking transfer for any other reason is a matter of mutual consent
