Articled assistant is a Trainnee for the perusal of CA course......
Audit assistant includes articled assistants and other employeess.

You can serve the articleship in position as articled assistant and Industrial Trainee or audit assistant or mix of two. Total period as artiucled assistant is 3.5 years and as an audit assistant is 4.5 years.
