26 August 2007 I am working as Accounts Officer in a big company handling accounts of 250 crores and hosting the audit work. I have cleared PE 2 course. If Institute may allow me to appear in final exam without articleship. What is your views in this regards. As per my views it is needed to allow such type of person to appear in examination without articleship to strengthen the institute and CA profession.

26 August 2007 We all are bound by the institute rules and regulations. No one is given such type of relaxation. If it is happen in one case then every one will go for job.

Rule is rule.............U can do one thing u hav to complete the 2 years of articleship then go for industrial training............

26 August 2007 Thanks, Incase a person is working in whole job like a chartered accountant and stisfy the purpose of institute which is very purpose of training. There must be some authority who may waive the requirement on getting satisfactory documentry evidence of having working in the same field.
