Dear sir,
I am persuing 2nd year of articleship in mumbai.I am from chattisgarh.I want to take transfer on the grounds of financial problem or my father illness and my principal is ready to give me.then whether institute wll give me permission or not...plz reply as soon as possible..

transfer can only be taken in first year to other chartered accountancy firm And in last year for industrial training. Icai never breaks their rules hence no transfer will be allowed in second year

TRANSFER OF ARTICLESHIP IS PERMITTED WITHOUT ANY RESTRICTION DURING FIRST YEAR OF ARTICLESHIP.BUT AFTER 1ST YEAR WE HAVE TO GIVE REASONS AND I AM GIVING VALID REASONS ALSO..PLZZ REPLY..

it is not in the list of approved grounds given by icai for transfer of articles

but sir if I give reasons such as family problem or my dad illness problem then whether i have to give some proof to icai or simply giving letter together with consent of my principal icai will allow me..
