05 February 2014 hello sir....i have joined for articleship in a firm where the office timings is from 9:30 am to 6pm . iam also pursuing bcom where the college timings is:
morning session - 7am to 9:30am
evening session - 6pm to 8:30pm
will there be any problem regarding timings
?will icai object to this?

05 February 2014 It depending on the distance between you college and your articleship training firm/place. Because of your articleship training timings and classes timings are very very similar for starting and ending.

So if your office and college is near means side by side or in same premises then ICAI shall not object you, Otherwise there is chances to object by ICAI.

Otherwise you have another choice

mention your college timings 7 am to 9 am and 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm in your form 112 for this you have to make sign by your college principle also on form 112, so try to convey your college principle(if he/she not agreed with your choice) then ICAI shall not object.

05 February 2014 sir as mentioned above the office timings is from 9:30 am to 6PM....with the permission of my principal if i put the office timings as 9:45am to 5:45pm so that it does not clash with the college timings,will there be any problem??

05 February 2014 In such case also you not face any problem, But if required then you have to prove 15 minutes is sufficient to reach your office from the college and vise verse.
