Sir, i have a doubt about the last date of articleship registration?
one of my friend cleared his IPCC in May 2013 exams.. but he still not yet registered for articleship. So i want to know the last date of articles registration so as to eliginle for appearing CA final exam in May 2016.
plz reply....

30th Oct,2013 is the last date for appearing in the the Final Exam on May 2016...

if he dont get registrartion on or before 30th oct, then is there any chance (for eg:registration with late fee) to appering in May 2016?

You can submit the from within one month after the Articleship registration,
However, Articleship start date in the form must be on or before 30 Oct,2013...

Hi
As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
If you will not completed your 30 months as on 31.04.2016, then you will be not eligible to appear in Final exam in May, 2016.

REGULATION 29C: ADMISSION TO FINAL EXAMINATION
(1) No candidate shall be admitted to the Final Examination unless he has passed:-
(i) the Intermediate (Professional Competence) Examination in its entirety, held under these regulations;
(II) completed the practical training as is required for admission as a member on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is held or has been serving the last six months of practical training under Regulation 50 on the first day of the month in which the examination is held.
(III) he produces a certificate to the effect that he has undergone a study course for such period, as on the first day of the month in which examination is held, in such manner as may be decided by the Council from time to time; and
(iv) completed the Advanced Course on Information Technology Training under these regulations for such period and in such manner as may be decided by the Council, from time to time.

However, Ajay Sir explained it well enough..
After your registration in articleship, you have to send the Articleship registration form within 30 days..
While filling the Articleship form you have to fill when did you started your articleship and and when it will end..
That particular date is important and that decides your CA final Term...

Sir, one more problem.
he didn't complete the Orientation programme.
he registered at ICAI chapter for orientation programme, but it will in the month of November.
So my doubt is if he fill up the articles form by mentioning the date within 30th Oct. and after completion of orientation programme in Nov. he send the articles form to ICAI (with late fee), then from which date the articleship will commence?

You can not fill the CA Articleship form without completing IT and OT,
If his orientation completes within 30th Oct,2013 only then he can fill the form regarding such matter...
