Article registration- request for stipend proof from icai

21 May 2013 My auditor pays stipend through cash, because he is ignorant that it is to be paid through account payee cheques only.
When I said this, he said he is ignorant and promised to pay by cheques from then onwards.
ICAI asked me to furnish 1)Form 102 2) attendance sheet and 3) stipend proof, to register my articles which was pending with ICAI.
After sending the post with said enclosures (for stipend proof I enclosed internal vouchers), I received the same letter again from ICAI asking me to furnish the same again.
But as per the speed post tracking tool I came to know that my post has been received by ICAI.
I sent the tracking details and informed that I have already sent the asked particulars which reached your office.
Then a call arrived form an official of ICAI to scan my bank pass book details(as it is mandatory to pay the stipend only through account payee cheques)and send mail, for furthur registering my articles, which I dont have as my auditor pays me by cash.
Please guide me on this, how I should go forward.

21 May 2013 ICAI generally MAY NOT ask such details unless you have submitted 103 with delay

1)provide copy of form 102 as advised(this asked to confirm on what date you have started articles with ur employer) and ICAI may not accept ur article registration on a later date.

2)you can provide attendance sheet from ur employer.(as it is the responsibility of employer to maintain attendance of article students and responsibility fixed to article student to maintain work dairy duly authorized by ICAI.

21 May 2013 And it is highly recommended to provide information immediately with out any argument like (speed post delivered, or any letter other than requested)
[ you have not mentioned how many months of articleship completed)

As stipend proof you need to provide bank pass book scanned copy as suggested or PDF statement generated from net banking facility,(provide statement atleast he might have given some stipend through cheque)
Note:if you want to provide bank statement be alert,..see whether with drawings are made in the same city where you are doing articleship.

As you are telling that stipend was paid through internal voucher at-least provide the same as it is your responsibility to prove that you have received the stipend duly.and to confirm that you are working as an article in the office of principal from the date that you have claimed in form103.

Note: before giving reply regarding this to ICAI is must to consult your principal because he also severally liable to abide by the rules of ICAI
