Can a govt. employee be appointed as a non-executive director in a private or a public company.

The Act, only says that Individual can be appointed as director of the company, but it not restrict to appoint a government employee as director of the company, whether it is public or private limited.
Before appointing in any other entity, they can take approval (NOC) of our concern authority.
