can an individual be appointed as a director of the company? who has already made an application for the allotrment of din but din is yet to be alloted.

yes can be appointed,but after the approval of DIN, file F-32 to mca.

Yes Raj such person can be appointed as a director.
But filing of form 32 for appointment can be done only after approval of DIN number by MCA.
You can pass the necessary resolution for appointment pending approval of DIN number.
Revert if there is any doubt.
