03 April 2019 sir, I have a single Pan card & i want to surrender that PAN card, due to death of individual .Plz Suggest me how i surrender that PAN & also suggest me the format of the surrender of the PAN card same early as possible Thanking You

04 April 2019 PAN card of an deceased individual is generally not required to be surrendered. Department may require certain information or inquiry in his case or in other cases even after his death.
.
However, his relative may intimate the jurisdictional AO about the demise by filing his Death Certificate and request him to cancel the PAN.
