15 November 2015 I want to make DIN Application for one of my client.His name is DEEPAK LALJI KERAI.KERAI is his surname and his father name is LALJI.But in his PAN Card is of KERAI DEEPAK LALJI.While filing Form DIR-3,it is mandatory to give pan card as proof of identity and when pan card is given all details should be as per pan as said in mca site.

Whether I have to make necessary correction in PAN Card to replace the name by DEEPAK LALJI KERAI??Please Guide..

15 November 2015 Checking of PAN: The fourth alphabet of Permanent Account Number should be "P" in case of individual.Similarly the first alphabet of the Surname will be the Fifth alphabet in one's PAN.Kindly check with this information how the PAN of your client is obtained. Accordingly fill the DIR form as per PAN. If required apply for change of particulars in PAN.

15 November 2015 Firstly update the pan database of your clieng , after updation apply for din. Without updation MCA may gives error while opting pan verification in DIN form

16 November 2015 I checked PAN in tin site and also in KNOW YOUR PAN in incometaxindia.gov.in site...In this it appears as DEEPAK LALJI KERAI...i.e.in First Name:DEEPAK,Middle Name:Lalji and in last name: Kerai....
But in PAN Card Name is KERAI DEEPAK LALJI..still it requires to correct details in income tax pan to file form DIR-3??in income tax pan name is already Deepak Lalji Kerai
