i just want to know that M.R.P.for any product include VAT or not
sir some days before i purchased a computer accessory.On product it is mentioned MRP price but vendor chaged vat on that MRP price

Normally under the packaging commodities Act 1987 all inclusive price will have to be printed

MRP IS THE MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE WHICH CAN BE CHARGED FROM THE CUSTOMER ,IT SHOULD INCLUDE ALL THE TAXES

No the vendor cannot charge, please go back and seek a refund of tax, or politely state that you would approach the consumer forum or report to the manufacturer about his discrepancy
MRP itself mean maximum retail price inclusive of all taxes, unless specifically state on the packing , taxes extra.
