28 June 2016 One of my friend is transporter of goods having Rs.40 lakh turnover as per reverse charge mechanism whether he is liable for registration or not.

28 June 2016 under RCM you have to liable to pay the service tax, there is no exempt limit under the law

28 June 2016 I just want to know as turnover is more than 10lakh that is why it is taxable if less than 10 lakh then not taxable

28 June 2016 sir for RCM there is no limit specified . even on Rs. 1 you have to pay the service tax.
