11 September 2013 as new companies bill has been passed, will it be applicable in ca final may 2014 exams?

11 September 2013 As per ICAI notification nothing can be predicted,
ICAI will revert on this prior to six months of exams at least...

Have to wait for the update...

11 September 2013 Agree with expert opinion...

There may be possibility of applicability of new Companies Act, 2013 that it can applicable for May 2014.

But I will suggest you to start reading new Companies Act, 2013 along with old Companies Act, 1956, if you are ready to give exam in may, 2014.

But I have further some doubts, as I am appearing for May 2014
If new act will not applicable for May 14, then students who will clear the exams with old, can they be said competitive professional. As institutes basic motive is to provide society a competitive professional...
The Act , everyone knows which can not be applied in future , what is fun in refering that...???

If the new Act will be applicable in the May 14 exams then don't you think that notification should be given as early as possible... without waiting prior to 6 months.... because this is not AMMENDMENT but it is REPLACEMENT of the act....
As last 6 months notification may be harsh for students...
as students are having also other subject to comlete....
