Applicability of form 15CB and 15CA

02 March 2011 Whether remitter will be required to get certificate 15Cb from a CA and then required to fill form 15CA online in case of making payment to non resident through CREDIT CARD.

02 March 2011 The process that will have to be followed, before any remittance can be made, is as under—


Step 1 : Obtain a certificate from a Chartered Accountant in Form No 15CB

Step 2:Furnish the information in Form No15CA


Step 3:Electronically upload Form 15CA on the designated website

Step 4:Take Print out of Form 15CA and file a signed copy

Step 5:Remit money to the Non Resident

Please note that all the above steps have to be undertaken before remittance of money to the non-resident.

But i know very well what is the procedure for foreign remittance.
But while making payment through ineternational credit card, we are not in position to deposit the form 15CA alongwith 15CB to our i.e. remitter bank as no foreign remittance through bank, as here we are making payment to our foreign party through credit card, we are not seeking any foreign currency from any Authorised delaer for remittance.
So the position is sill open.
