whether provisions of Companies Act applicable to the co-operative societies?

No, the provisions of Companies Act, will not apply to co-operative societies they will govern by their Co-operative Societies Act.

Suppose the name of the co-operative society's include the word "limited' in its name then still the answer will be same?

Co-operative Societies are not governed by Companies Act, 1956..
So companies act wont apply even if the societies name include Limited.
