29 January 2011 I have to file an appeal before CIT(A) against order of AO in case of Individual.

I heard that court fee stamp is to be affixed on application form 35. From where the same can be arranged and for how much rupee.

29 January 2011 Court Fee Stamp of Rs. 5.OO is required.
But you may affix of Rs. 10.00.(in case Stamp of Rs.5.00 is not available)
Stamps are available with the stamp vendor
selling non judicial stamp papers in or around court in your city.

Your letter of authority is also required on Rs. 100/ Stamp Paper.

30 January 2011 Please tell which challan is used for payment of appeal fee. The individual is not covered under TAX AUDIT.

Pls tell challan and where to fill for this fee.

30 January 2011 Ordinary challan used for self assessment tax etc. So far as stamps are concerned, it is astate matter. So far as Incometax Act is concerned, no court fee stamps are required.
