sir i want to know that if an appeal is time barred by two years for genuine reason so whether it can be done now or is there any remedy in it.

The appellate authorities may condone the delay in filing the appeal if they are satisified with the reason putforth by you. But two years period is too long to be condoned in the Finance Act
